The Course "Cucina di Classe"

The course is held from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:30 and is structured in two parts:

- the first part, from 09:00 to 11:00, includes two hours of Italian language lessons focused on Italian cuisine and useful vocabulary in the kitchen; helps our participants with the theoretical-practical part;

- at 11.15am, after a 15 minute break, the second part of the course begins and students will take part in the preparation of the menu planned for the day and will have the opportunity to learn the basic techniques of Italian cuisine.

At the end of each lesson the students will taste the dishes they prepared.

I LESSON
Italian course: Italian language used in the kitchen: verbs, adjectives and substantives used in the kitchen. Tools used in the kitchen. Jobs and professions: the chef.
Cooking lesson: BREAD AND PIZZA
II LESSON
Italian course: The history of pasta, the different types of pasta, pasta and festivities.
Cooking lesson: FRESH HAND-MADE PASTA
III LESSON
Italian course: Read recipes, give instructions, describe ingredients, read and understand a menu. The most important Italian restaurants and bars.
Cooking lesson: VEGETABLES, RICE AND RISOTTI
IV LESSON
Italian course: Express quantity, types of fish, the Mediterranean Diet.
Cooking lesson: MEAT
V LESSON
Italian course: Culture and taste
Cooking lesson: FISH AND SEAFOOD
