Located in the picturesque village of Braunwald, in the canton of Glarus, the Mathematics Camp offers an inspiring and educational experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. This car-free mountain destination, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery, forests, and panoramic views, provides an ideal setting for young learners to strengthen their mathematical skills while enjoying an active and memorable summer in nature.

Each week, participants benefit from 15 hours of mathematics lessons, delivered in small groups of approximately eight students, ensuring personalized attention and effective learning. Lessons are interactive, structured, and motivating, helping students consolidate school knowledge, improve problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in mathematics in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Beyond the classroom, the camp features a dynamic afternoon and evening programme filled with outdoor activities, sports, creative workshops, games, and excursions. Taking full advantage of Braunwald’s unique alpine surroundings, students enjoy a balanced mix of learning and leisure, with new experiences every day under the supervision of qualified and caring staff.

Participants stay in comfortable shared accommodation with welcoming common areas that encourage social interaction and cultural exchange. Full-board meals are provided, ensuring healthy and balanced dining throughout the stay.

Braunwald is a peaceful and accessible destination, ideal for children’s and teenagers’ camps. Its car-free environment allows students freedom of movement and safety, while excellent transport connections from major Swiss cities make travel easy.

The friLingue Mathematics Camp in Braunwald includes:
- 15 hours of mathematics tuition per week in small groups (average of 8 students)

Additional costs (optional):
Intensive course - 2 days - 100CHF per week
Intensive course - 3 days - 150CHF per week
Coding workshop (will take place only if a minimum of 3 participants have registered and lessons will be in English. You must bring your own laptop.) - 150CHF per week

Laundry Service - only possible for bookings of 2 weeks or more - 40CHF

Transfer from/to Zurich (Arrival between 10.00 and 16.00 and Departure between 12am and 6pm) - 150CHF each way
