Instituto Superior de Español - Otavalo is located just a few steps from the famous Plaza de Ponchos. In the Second Floor of Modesto Jaramillo y Juan de Salinas.

It is located just in the center of town surrounded by the colorful handicraft stores of the area. Our easy reachable access allows our Students to have coffee shops near, restaurants close to the school. Our host families' accommodations are also in short walking distance from the School.

Every day walking to the school will be a delightful path to enjoy through the town.

The support from the language school was exceptionally good. I was personally picked up from the airport and taken to my host family. The host family welcomed me extremely warmly and welcomed me into their family. The contact with the host family, combined with the language lessons, enabled me to learn a lot of Spanish in a short time, even though I had no previous contact with the language. I would recommend it to anyone.
It was my first time in Ecuador and I wasn't familiar with the situation at all. Therefore, I was happy to be staying with a host family and in what felt like a very safe place in Otavalo, which offered great opportunities for excursions into nature or to the local market in the city center.

Everything was well organized and very friendly. My teacher was excellent and I learned a lot.

There were no group activities, because there were just 2 other students at the time I have been to otavalo.
To my guest family was very kind and supporting. Otavalo is a nice and relaxed little city.
